Kindly asking for this seller to go out of business because I can’t afford to keep finding more of their bags that I have to have. When I first scrolled upon this bag, it was mixed in with the other S-Zone totes and I thought to myself how odd and tall this one was. It was only when I opened the listing that I realized it was a little tiny mini tote! It’s so proportional it was hard to tell and caught me off guard. I was obviously delighted. I now have a medium and large tote too but this little guy is where it all started. I didn’t buy this for the normal use- I bought it to use as a training treat pouch to use while working with my rescue dog. He is very social and goes out to all kinds of restaurants and breweries with us. But he still needs training, so I constantly have treats with me and really wanted something that didn’t make me look like a crazy dog lady. Well, in doing so I actually became more of a crazy dog lady because I am also a leather enthusiast and prefer brass hardware, although this seems coated it isn’t scratched or tarnished yet. But I’ve matched every single supply or accessory I use on him in brass and dark brown leather so had to have a bag that matched his harness, leash and collar while blending with my training whistle and other accessories. It is really hard to find unlined leather bags, but I needed that in order to put in a stashed silicone ziploc which you can see fits absolutely perfectly inside. When it’s opened it holds the whole bag open for easy access and when I want it closed I just push the whole bag together and it easily zips and magnets shut. I fit my iPhone 14 Pro Max in the compartment next to the stasher bag, cards in the front pocket and usually clip any other accessories like poop bag and keys to the outside as needed. What would make this bag even better is maybe a back pocket that is phone sized or to maybe make the front pocket larger, although that would compromise the scaled down cute little tote look. I also use the handles and wouldn’t want them gone completely, but they really should be an inch or two longer to be truly functional. I can fit them around my wrists which is useful in a pinch but as is they aren’t quite long enough to weigh themselves down and hang to the side, not long enough to truly hold for a day out, and can get in the way when I need quick access. That said, I still like to be able to clip or hang the bag by them and it does make the bag look petite and cute. The shoulder strap made me think it should be thicker and lined in nylon like the larger bags when I first unboxed it, but I honestly haven’t had any issues with it in reality. I hike and throw this thing around and the straps are still like new and the bag doesn’t get heavy enough for it to dig into my shoulder. In fact, it’s sturdy enough that I’ve shortened it and used it as a waist strap before while training. The leather of the bag itself is thick and sturdy, really high quality. You do need to know what you’re getting though. This type of leather will show wear if you look at it wrong. I knew this and also was aware that it will look better and better with age so I don’t mind the distressed look. In these pictures, the bag has been used heavily and then hung to store for a while so it looks dry/ lighter. However, I regularly use leather honey on it generously and it darkens up to a new and uniform look. With time, it will darken more and stay like that. All of my bags have come well wrapped and flawless. In my bigger bags, which are also unlined, they come with a high quality canvas pouch which I place any items in that I don’t want to be discolored by the leather. However I have not had any issues with color bleeding, I also don’t carry it around all day while in a white dress or shirt. When I’m not using it for training, I often take it out as a regular purse and can fit a slim wallet, my phone (should note my 14 pro max does block the magnet from being shut) with case/ pop socket, keys, a little hair brush, scrunchy, mints, my training whistle which I carry as a good luck charm lol. And let me tell you about the S-Zone logo: my dogs name is Stone, and it seriously looks like all my bags are customized with his name in it because of the cursive font ? I’ve greatly enjoyed all the little extras that have come with my bags, little keychains with his name on them ? And I always get so many complements on it. Couple all of this with the excellent price point (if you look at literally any other listing on Amazon or sellers with comparable style like Portland Leather you’ll know it can’t be beat) and it’s just too perfect for all my needs. Next up will be a backpack once I can decide on which one.
